I don’t trust skinny people. If you don’t enjoy eating, then we have nothing in common and most likely can’t be friends. However, I recently bought the Living Social gym membership deal and last night I went to TurboKick class. Apparently, TurboKick is just kickboxing and no turbo. I loved the instructor because she was wonderfully crazy. She lost count, forgot the routine midway through, and she added a booty shake to everything. I especially liked her because she wasn’t stick thin. She gets it. However, this whole gym thing is new to me. When I have exercised in the past, I would go to a dance class or run outside, but the gym is a whole new world. It’s everything I could have ever imaged. It’s sweaty body builders, chubby women breathing heavily, skinny girls that need to eat a cheeseburger, and my favorite: the old lady who can do 10x as many push ups as I can. I’m still doing girl push ups on my knees and this old lady can do one arm push ups. I mean, seriously. Is that really necessary?
Whatever. I’m hungry.
Loved this one! You’re a girl after my own heart!
My exercise each day is keeping my balance on the train. Kickboxing sounds more productive.
